Another way to save money on your reception wedding centerpieces is to have your florist show you how to put one together. Get your friends and family together and show them how you want your centerpieces to be created. If you know how to do this yourself you are ahead of the game and it will save you time and money!
TIP: If you are planning to use real flowers and you are doing the centerpieces yourself; BE SURE YOU HAVE ENOUGH COLD STORAGE to keep them fresh before placing them onto your wedding and reception tables.

Stretch your dollars and find out what flowers are in season, these are usually cheaper than what is not in season. If you are set on a particular flower that is too expensive for your budget you should consider using silk wedding flowers. There are many real touch silk flowers that look great and some are even scented!
Some of the best flowers for a March, April or May wedding are; hydrangeas, roses, tulips, lilac, cosmos, peonies, cherry and apple blossoms, hyacinths, and sweet peas.
I love this floral wedding swag made with peonies and roses!! It looks great with tall glass candle holders!

Designated as a Texas Landmark in 1968, this historic chapel is one the oldest churches in Wise County. It opened its doors in 1889 and the history of the church goes back to 1882 or before. The church features a working antique reed organ from the 1880’s, the original chalice and paten and the original candle sticks from when the church was originally in the hands of the diocese.
The church also features a large wrap around deck and courtyard perfect for wedding receptions and Quince Anos celebrations. They also offer services for; Horse Drawn Carriages, Photography and more!
Today the chapel is used for weddings and Quince Anos celebrations. I have personally been to the church and it is truly, a wonderful and magical place to have a celebration!

Weddings: Use a tall vase or tower vase with a single flower or three. This will help keep your cost down and gives your tables’ style and elegance. They can stand alone or you can accent around the vase with flower petals and decorative confetti and/or votive candles for a more spectacular effect.
Home: Use a tall vase or tower vase with a single flower or three. This will help keep your cost down giving your tables’ style and elegance.
Weddings: Take a tall hurricane candle holder wrap flower garland around the stem of the holder and use either wax or water candles in the holder. Instead of using candles you can also create a small flower arrangement to insert into the top cup of the holder. For a more romantic effect, surround the candle holder with votive candles, tealight candles or both.
